After a difficult economic year, which raised problems in most business sectors, Veltol Holding – the Romanian technology company specialized in renewable energy, storage systems, smart energy management solutions (EMS), as well as building management systems (BMS) & automation – doubled its turnover in 2025 compared to the previous year and is proposing investments of over 3 million euros for 2026.

Veltol Holding ended 2025 with a turnover of over 59.3 million lei (approximately 12 million euros), up over 135% compared to 2024. This evolution is due to the expansion of the project portfolio, the investments made in the last year, but also to the strategic positioning on the renewable energy market in Romania.

Investments, operational expansion and premiere launches

The increase in turnover for 2025 comes from the increase in the volume of projects delivered (implementation of over 500 residential photovoltaic systems and over 50 commercial and industrial systems in 2025), and investments in the development of its own technologies (500,000 euros for Velionic storage solutions and the Veltol EMS energy management platform). The company also invested 100,000 euros in the development and market launch of the Veltol EMS controller, the first controller with an advanced energy management system (EMS) in Romania.

Also in 2025, Veltol Holding made significant investments in human resource development, but also in equipment and technology, worth over 200,000 euros, investments that directly contributed to the development of the business.

    Objectives and investments for 2026

For 2026, Veltol Holding aims to continue investing, both in expanding its project portfolio and in modernizing its operational infrastructure. The company plans to invest 3 million euros in its own photovoltaic park, which will be built in Acățari, in Mureș County, and for which it will receive a contribution from the Modernization Fund worth 900,000 euros. The photovoltaic plant will have a debited power of 4.9 MW, with an installed power of 5.45 MWp, and a total storage capacity of 6.2 MWh.

Also, investments in the company”s development will continue (employee training, new technology, car fleet, equipment, logistics, etc.), and are estimated at approximately 500,000 euros.

“The 2025 results confirm the strategic direction we have chosen for Veltol Holding. The accelerated growth in turnover is the result of the investments made in recent years, of the team and of our ability to adapt quickly to a constantly changing market. For this year, our strategy is based on three clear directions. The first is the development of complete energy ecosystems, in which production, storage and consumption are coordinated through advanced software and artificial intelligence algorithms. Here, Veltol EMS remains the central pawn. The second direction is the acceleration of the energy storage segment. To this end, we will continue to develop our own Velionic solutions and integrate them into commercial and industrial projects, where they can generate immediate impact. The third direction aims at the complete integration of our services and products, so that we can offer customers “turnkey” solutions — from design and execution, to software, automation and intelligent energy management,” said Levente Tóth, CEO and founder of Veltol Holding. In the medium term, Veltol Holding aims to become a national benchmark in energy storage and management technology. In the long term, it aims to expand into the markets of Central and South-Eastern Europe, Hungary and Italy, with a focus on developing complex production and energy efficiency projects with strategic partners.
