Nearly 100 years after its founding, Phoenix Contact has launched the ‘All Electric Society’ concept is all about efficiency and sustainability. It describes a society that will rely on electricity produced sustainably, in as efficient conditions as possible, with the lowest costs and benefits as much as possible, said Cătălin Lepinzean, Key Account Manager Phoenix Contact, during the „Smart Cities – What we can do today” conference, organized by Energynomics.

“Phoenix Contact is a German manufacturer of components for electrical installations, automation for industries, all that is related to the control elements inside the cabinets. We can go from simple automation to today’s topics of energy efficiency, smart buildings and cities, charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, etc. At present, as we approach the celebration of the Phoenix Contact centenary, we come with the ‘All Electric Society’ message, which proposes an entirely electric society. ‘All Electric Society’ means a society that will rely on electricity produced sustainably, under as efficient conditions as possible, with the least possible costs and benefits. For this purpose, Phoenix Contact is at the disposal of any partner, integrator or final beneficiary, with our solutions and ideas”, said Cătălin Lepinzean.

“’All Electric Society’ means, for us, the present and the future, and we are preparing to put jointly work and help the societies in which we live and have businesses to achieve these goals”, he added.

Solutions can also be scaled at the level of smart cities, as the interpretation of data provided by a simple set of sensors or the most complex systems can be applied to any kind of local needs. “Everything is based on these monitoring, information gathering, processing and decision-making solutions based on information. In the energy efficiency area, everything needs to be optimised so as to achieve energy consumption as efficient as possible, as sustainable as possible”, said Cătălin Lepinzean.

The conference “Smart Cities – what we can do today” was organized by Energynomics, with the support of our partners ABB, Automobile Bavaria Group, Consolight, Eaton Electric, Enel X, Flash Lighting Services, LAPP Romania, Phoenix Contact, REI Group, Sixt, Signify.
