The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu, sent a letter to the MPs presidents of the economic policy and industries commissions, saying that it would be useful to invite all the relevant actors in the field – producers, distributors and suppliers – to the debate on the energy ordinance, according to Financialintelligence.

“On October 4, 2022, the Permanent Office of the Chamber of Deputies notified the Commission for Economic Policy, Reform and Privatization and the Commission for Industries and Services in order to examine and elaborate the report on the Draft Law on the approval of the Government’s Emergency Ordinance no. 119/ 2022 for the amendment and completion of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 27/2022 regarding the measures applicable to final customers in the electricity and natural gas market in the period April 1, 2022-March 31, 2023, as well as for the amendment and completion of some normative acts in the field of energy (PLx no. 551/2022),” claims Ciolacu, in the address sent to Deputy Costel Dunava, President of the Commission for Economic Policy, Reform and Privatization, and to Deputy Bende Sandor, President of the Commission for Industries and Services.

“Considering the importance of the debates related to the field of energy and natural gas, as well as the impact on citizens and the economy, I consider it appropriate to analyze that, in the debates that will take place on this bill, will participate as guests also the representatives of producers, distributors, suppliers, as well as other actors involved in this strategic field,” he adds.
