Regional Approach Brussels: Energy Transition

30 Mar 2022 @ 10:00 - 14:00

On Wednesday, March 30, from 10:00 a.m. (local time), Energynomics invites you to another conference in our Regional Approach series. This B2B conference organized at Double Tree by Hilton hotel, in Brussels, is an excellent opportunity to interact with the strongest leaders in the business environment in Romania and the kingdom of Belgium. This half-day conference is meant to put together Romanian experts and decision-makers from the energy industry, with their peers in the host city, in order to facilitate an exchange of ideas and future business cooperation.

Against the background of the general objectives of the Regional Approach project – to promote Romanian energy expertise on international markets while presenting opportunities on the local market to potential external partners – we aim that on 30 March we bring to attention the restructuring path of CE Oltenia as a sui-generis example of the energy transition.

CONTEXT

The largest country in the Eastern EU, Romania is a 19 million people nation with a strong tradition in the energy sector, punctuated by many technological firsts, for more than 150 years. This history means a heavy legacy visible not only in the field, but also in the classrooms, and near the drawing boards. Engineers in all energy fields join the automation, IT and cyber-security for a vibrant professional community, where innovation and entrepreneurial mindset bring ideas to the test and provide solutions for real-life troubles all over the world.

WHY CHOOSE ROMANIA?

Romanian energy infrastructure is rather obsolete and it might prove a large work-field for multinational players, and also for smaller, family-owned businesses in Europe. Getting to know Romanian companies is one good way of introducing oneself to a new market!

WHY CHOOSE ROMANIAN EXPERTS?

At the same time, Romanian experts and their companies have a lot to share with their counterparts in Europe, as they already do it. Getting to know Romanian companies is one good way of introducing oneself to a new set of solutions!

The conference Regional Approach Brussels – Energy Transition is recommended by: The Romanian Energy Center – REC, The Belgian Luxembourg Romanian Moldovan Chamber of Commerce – BEROCC, The Romanian-Belgian Business Club – Caromb, COGEN Europe, RPIA, RWEA.

The conference Regional Approach Brussels – Energy Transition is organized by Energynomics with the support of our partners: Kawasaki Gas Turbine Europe, MET România Energy, Restart Energy.
