Electro-Alfa International (BVB: EAI), a leading Romanian manufacturer of electrical equipment and provider of EPC and IT services, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, reports solid revenue growth and stable consolidated profitability for the first quarter of 2026. The company’s total revenue reached 135.1 million lei, an increase of 12.2% compared to Q1 2025. Net profit increased by 2.9%, to 6.2 million lei, supported by a 2% advance in EBITDA, which reached 10.6 million lei.
The results recorded in the first quarter by Electro-Alfa International were supported by the infrastructure and renewable energy projects carried out, by exports and participation in international projects carried out through tenders, including deliveries dedicated to the energy reconstruction of Ukraine, as well as by the production of low and medium voltage electrical equipment. Exports accounted for 26.2% of the company’s total revenue in the first quarter.

The evolution of revenues and profitability compared to the previous year reflects the continuous development of the portfolio and the mix of projects completed during this period. At the same time, the dynamics of the business segments and margins in the first three months of this year are influenced by the structure, delivery schedule and EPC execution works. Electro-Alfa International’s total equity at the end of the first quarter of this year was 764.6 million lei. Thus, the company held 137 million lei in cash and cash equivalents, in addition to 430 million lei in short-term bank deposits placed from the funds raised following the initial public offering completed in February 2026. The company has a net cash position of 46.4 million lei, corresponding to a net debt/equity ratio of -0.06x.
Electro-Alfa International’s revenue and profit, by business segments
The Production/Factories segment continued to have the main contribution to Electro-Alfa International’s turnover and profitability, with external revenues of 89.9 million lei in Q1 2026, up 24% compared to the previous year. The segment recorded an operating profit of 4.6 million lei, compared to 7 million lei in Q1 2025, and benefited from the sustained demand for low and medium voltage electrical equipment, including from exports.
The EPC Services segment generated external revenues of 45.1 million lei in Q1 2026, compared to 47.7 million lei in Q1 2025, while operating profit increased significantly, to 3.3 million lei, from 0.8 million lei in the comparable period of the previous year. The improvement in profitability reflects the timing of the recognition of subcontractor costs during the quarter, while the segment continued to support the company’s integrated business model by delivering infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
The IT Services segment, represented by the activity of the Alfa Factory Software subsidiary, generated external revenues of 0.2 million lei, in line with the performance recorded in Q1 2025. The segment recorded an operating loss of 0.2 million lei, an evolution that reflects the early stage of development and the initial phase of investments in capabilities related to software development and artificial intelligence.
Electro-Alfa International shares have been traded on the Regulated Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange since March 3, 2026, under the stock symbol EAI. The company successfully completed an IPO in February 2026 worth 544.3 million lei.
