184 pages of interviews, analysis and opinions, fully bilingual, in the best graphic quality, are now available for all those interested in the current affairs of the Romanian energy industry. In a few weeks the printed version will also be distributed, as it has been since December 2013, to Romanian energy industry professionals, managers of the most active companies and officials from regulatory authorities with attributions in the energy sector.
In this issue, we look at key issues for the future of the market: the energy transition, security of supply, stability of the regulatory framework and investment in renewables. We look at market trends in 2025, including digitalization, energy storage and how Romania is catching up with European standards.

She says that “the energy of the future depends on open and competitive markets”, and this message becomes a call for strengthening the public policy and fiscal framework so that companies have the stability they need for long-term projects. Nicolas Richard, CEO ENGIE România, explains from the perspective of a leading international company why Romania urgently needs regulatory predictability. He emphasizes the negative effects of frequent regulatory changes, which have dampened investment appetite and raised financing costs. “The competitive market needs a stable legislative framework”, says Richard, stressing that only through coherent and stable legislation can Romania provide investors with the certainty needed to support large-scale infrastructure and renewable projects.
