The norms of the Ceiling Law, 259/2021, are ready and will be published on the website of the Ministry of Energy today (November 17), says the Minister of Energy, Virgil Popescu.

These are the norms issued by the Ministry of Energy, and not those issued by ANAF, which are still expected by the market.

He also said that the state will not delay payment to suppliers and consumers and that there will be no price freeze.

“A blockage of payments would mean a blockage of the national energy system and we do not want this to happen. In terms of cash flow and liquidity, I assure you that payments will be made. Moreover, I will want to have a discussion with the banking system, in order to ensure the banking system that the Government is close to suppliers, distributors, to have liquidity in the market,” said the minister, during the conference “Challenges of the 2021-2022 Winter”, organized by Focus Energetic.
