România Eficientă Forum, an international conference dedicated to energy efficiency in buildings, has already become a flagship event in the region, reaching its fourth edition this year. In the context of the current energy price crisis, which underlines the urgent need to achieve a more efficient and lower carbon building stock, the theme of this year’s edition is “The Role of Buildings to REPowerEU”.

Approved in mid-May by the European Commission, the REPowerEU plan sets out a series of measures to rapidly reduce dependence on Russian fossil fuels and fast forward the green transition, while increasing the resilience of the EU-wide energy system.

Therefore, we are waiting for you to join us at the România Eficientă Forum, on November 24, between 9:30 a.m. and 13:15 p.m., at the POINT (10 General Eremia Grigorescu Street, Bucharest) to learn from experts, public authorities and industry professionals about the latest legislative and policy updates regarding energy efficiency in buildings.

The experts will also discuss the opportunities and challenges of energy efficiency in buildings in Romania and the region, while exploring technologies that can contribute to the decarbonization of the buildings sector.

Last but not least, you will find more about the recent achievements of the România Eficientă Program in terms of renovation works caried out at various public school across different regions in Romania.

The conference is organized by Energy Policy Group (EPG) within the România Eficientă Program, a privately funded multiannual project that promotes energy efficiency in buildings. It aims to advance energy efficiency at national level through public information campaigns, education programs, as well as renovations works at various public schools.
