Rețele Electrice Romania has launched on the electronic public procurement platform SEAP a tender with a maximum estimated value of up to 387 million lei (excluding VAT), for contracts for works in high-voltage installations in all three areas served: Muntenia Sud, Banat and Dobrogea.
The projects to be carried out include connections, network reinforcements, expansion of transformer stations and electrical lines in the municipality of Bucharest and the counties of Ilfov, Giurgiu, Arad, Caraș-Severin, Hunedoara, Timiș, Constanța, Tulcea, Ialomița and Călărași. These projects will be structured into 3 lots, corresponding to the 3 operational regions served.
For high-voltage power lines, both overhead and underground, preliminary construction activities, land systematization, works on poles and electromechanical elements of the network will be carried out.
Similar operations will be contracted within the transformer stations, as well as dismantling works of existing equipment, installation of new high, medium and low voltage equipment, including telecontrol and protection equipment.
The deadline for submitting offers is 17.08.2026, and the duration of the awarded contract is 60 months from the conclusion of the contract.
Rețele Electrice România assumes responsibility for environmental protection by applying a certified management system, which aims to reduce the impact of activities on the environment. The company responsibly manages waste resulting from the electricity distribution activity, respecting the legislation in force and its own integrated system, ensuring their reuse, recovery or disposal through authorized economic operators.
During all stages of execution of the works awarded following the tender, the applicable legal and regulatory requirements in the field of environmental protection, as well as the relevant standards in force, will be strictly complied with.
