The Supervisory Board of OMV has appointed Emma Delaney as Chairwoman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OMV, effective September 1, 2026. She will take up the position for a period of three years, with the possibility of extending the mandate for a further two years, subject to mutual agreement, according to a statement.

“With Emma Delaney, we are gaining an internationally renowned CEO from the energy sector who will further strengthen OMV with new momentum in a period of profound transformation. Thanks to her professional expertise and extensive international experience, she stood out as the preferred candidate in the search process, in which she also impressed us with her personality. I am very pleased that she has been appointed CEO today by the Supervisory Board and that she has accepted the appointment. The Supervisory Board would also like to thank Alfred Stern in advance for the trusting cooperation and for the strategic direction and implementation under his leadership, which are aimed at securing OMV’s future,” said Lutz Feldmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of OMV.

“It is a privilege to be appointed as the next CEO of OMV. I look forward to working with the team to continue building the next chapter in the OMV story,” added Emma Delaney.

At its meeting on Monday, the Supervisory Board also decided to extend the term of office of Reinhard Florey, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of OMV, by two years, with the option of a further one-year extension, subject to mutual agreement. His term of office will therefore initially run until June 30, 2029. Reinhard Florey has also been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, with immediate effect. He has been OMV’s CFO since 2016 and his responsibilities include Finance, Controlling, IT, Investor Relations and Sustainability. “We are pleased to continue our cooperation with Reinhard Florey, who has, over the past ten years, placed the company on a solid and sustainably stable financial footing with his experience and an excellent financial strategy,” said Lutz Feldmann.
