GSP signs a Black Sea drilling contract with Trillion Energy of Canada

Grup Servicii Petroliere (GSP) has signed an offshore drilling service agreement with Trillion Energy International for the 2022-2023 drilling program in the South Akcakoca sub-basin (SASB) gas field, in Turkey’s maritime territory.

The SASB perimeter covers a total area of ​​12,385 ha, being one of the largest natural gas production and development projects located in the Black Sea.

Trillion Energy International’s drilling program covers 2022-2023 and includes drilling 5 wells on existing production platforms using the GSP’s Uranus platform.

The GSP Uranus offshore drilling rig is a self-propelled 3-foot platform, Marathon Le Tourneau class 116-C, capable of operating in waters up to 100 meters deep and up to a maximum drilling depth of 7,600 meters.
