The energy sector continues to face major challenges at the intersection of energy transition, geopolitical tensions and the need for security and resilience. In a European context where the focus is on achieving the 2030 targets and building a decarbonised, stable and affordable energy system, the younger generation of leaders has a key role to play in shaping tomorrow’s solutions.
Future Energy Leaders Romania aims to create a space for dialogue between established leaders and young professionals actively contributing to the transformation of the energy system. Topics such as energy resilience and security, the adaptability of energy systems to new realities, technological innovation and the preparation of future leaders in the field will be addressed.
The “FEL Summit 2025 – The Future of Energy in a Changing World” will take place on 5 June 2025, from 16:00 – 21:00, at ONE Floreasca – Scenario.

The Summit aims to become a platform for reflection and action for a sustainable energy future, bringing together government representatives, policy makers, industry, academia, international organisations and young professionals. The event will also include a special moment dedicated to the young generation’s perspective on the future of energy.
