Regional Approach Istanbul: Investments in energy
24 Mar 2026 @ 11:00 - 16:30
On Tuesday, March 24, Energynomics organizes at Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel (see the map!), in Junior Ballroom (Lobby), its second conference in Turkey in the Regional Approach series. Following the experience in 2024 (read the follow-up articles!), We are returning with an in-person B2B conference designed to bring together Romanian experts and decision-makers from the energy industry with their counterparts from the host city to facilitate an exchange of ideas and future business cooperation..
Against the backdrop of the overall objectives of the Regional Approach project—promoting Romanian energy expertise on international markets while presenting opportunities on the local market to potential external partners—we aim to highlight opportunities for developing energy value chains for the energy transition in the two countries—photovoltaic, wind, batteries, energy infrastructure, etc.
The event will bring together financial institutions, private equity funds, infrastructure investors, technology providers, and policymakers to examine concrete avenues for investment in power generation, grids, storage, gas, nuclear, and energy-intensive digital infrastructure.
GOAL
Our goal is to attract new investments from Turkey to Romania and encourage business partnerships with Romanian counterparts by facilitating a discussion forum between Turkish companies active on the Romanian market and all companies interested in entering into successful partnerships.
We expect Turkish companies to share their experience, and Romanian companies to demonstrate their capabilities and willingness to work and partner with their Turkish counterparts.

WHY CHOOSE ROMANIA?
Romanian energy infrastructure is rather obsolete and it might prove a large work field for multinational players, and also for smaller, family-owned businesses in Europe. Getting to know Romanian companies is one good way of introducing oneself to a new market!
WHY CHOOSE ROMANIAN EXPERTS?
At the same time, Romanian experts and their companies have a lot to share with their counterparts in Europe, as they already do it. Getting to know Romanian companies is one good way of introducing oneself to a new set of solutions!
