The Commission has launched a public consultation on the review of the EU rules on trans-European energy infrastructure. As the new markets rules for energy are spreading across Europe, more and more business cases depend on taking into consideration what is happening outside the national borders. This is more evident when looking at large power generation projects (nuclear or hydro storage, alike), but also in relation with complying to CO2 requirements and developing (regional) CCUS plans.
