The partnership between ENEVO Group and GreenArch Energy represents a significant step in the development of renewable energy in Romania, with a planned portfolio of 150 MW. This collaboration will enable the integration of clean energy solutions focused on solar, wind, and storage capacities, essential for the country’s energy transition.

The agreement will commence with an initial portfolio of approximately 100 MW in photovoltaic capacity and battery storage, alongside 50 MW from onshore wind sources. Construction of the first assets is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, in a Romanian market that is becoming increasingly competitive in the renewable energy sector.

Carmelo Bongiovanni, Managing Director of ENEVO Group, emphasized that: “This agreement reflects our ambition to create sustainable value, beyond the development and construction stage.” This integrated approach, which includes not only construction but also development and partnership for energy marketing, will reduce risks and accelerate the integration of projects into the market.

The expansion of the partnership into Italy and the United Kingdom is another notable aspect, with King Chan, CEO of GreenArch Energy, highlighting that “scaling requires a reliable partner.” This expansion into additional European markets will facilitate the identification of new opportunities and support the long-term development of clean energy solutions.
