The Enel company proposed to the Environment Fund Administration (AFM) to transfer to the companies that install photovoltaic panels on buildings and roofs the approval operations of the files submitted by the beneficiaries through the Casa Verde government program, but the request was rejected.

“We sent the AFM a request and a proposal on the Casa Verde program to transfer the approval of the files to the installers and then we assume that we have all the files and all the data and they are correct and are eligible and to do the work with our own money as follows later let the AFM settle it for us. It has not yet been accepted. Maybe in the future”, said Dorin Chisăliță, Head of eCity Romania at Enel X Romania, during the conference “Digitalization and Energy Efficiency – Cluj-Napoca”, organized by Energynomics.

In March of this year, the AFM announced that, due to the high volume of applications, up to “several tens of thousands”, it decided to outsource the analysis procedures for the files submitted under several programs, including Casa Verde Fotovoltaice, Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings, Public Lighting and Charging Stations in localities.

Chisăliță added that, for now, prosumers do not need storage batteries for the energy they produce, if this volume falls within a monthly consumption of up to 200 kWh. Also, no change in the energy consumer’s behavior is required.

“This year, the law of the prosumer has changed and it is valid until 2030. I would say that it is still not necessary to change our behavior or to turn to batteries that are very expensive. We hope that this law will last until 2030 and even then batteries will be cheaper,” he added.

The “Digitalization and Energy Efficiency – Cluj-Napoca” conference was organized by Energynomics with the support of its partners: Eaton Electric, Elgeka-Ferfelis Romania, Enel X, EnergoBit, Kawasaki Gas Turbine Europe, MET Energy Romania, REI Group, Photomate, Volt, Wiren.
