E.ON Energie România strengthens its strategic partnership with Atmoce, a global provider of renewable energy technologies, by launching new integrated photovoltaic equipment, developed and adapted to the needs of customers in Romania, in the E.ON Solar Home portfolio.
The equipment will be available starting in July of this year and brings a premiere: the energy storage battery with a 25-year lifespan and warranty.
Another new element is the “Combiner Pro”, which contributes to a more efficient and safer integration of the photovoltaic system through a single unit that ensures the centralization of production, the delivery of energy to the building and the injection into the grid. At the same time, it also has a back-up function that supplies energy when there are grid failures.
The new Atmoce equipment is presented at Intersolar Europe 2026, an event taking place from June 23 to 26 at Messe-Munchen, dedicated to the photovoltaic industry and bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, installers and developers of photovoltaic systems with innovations in the field.
“The partnership with Atmoce is based on a shared vision: the future of residential energy does not only mean the production of renewable energy, but the integration of production, storage and intelligent energy management in a complete ecosystem. Through this collaboration, we bring to the E.ON portfolio solutions developed around the real needs of customers, with a focus on safety, sustainability and long-term efficiency”, says Claudia Griech, CEO E.ON Energie Romania.
Innovation Center, dedicated to testing and developing energy solutions
In partnership with Atmoce, E.ON Energie România will open this year, in Iași, the Innovation Center, a shared space for accelerated exploration, testing and validation of ideas, new technologies and integrated energy solutions that quickly transform customer feedback into solutions tailored to their needs.
“Together with E.ON Energie România, we have undertaken the development of innovative solar AC generator solutions that offer homeowners and companies a superior level of reliability, efficiency and safety. The Innovation Center in Iași will strengthen Romania’s position as an important hub for renewable energy innovation and contribute to Europe’s broader energy transition objectives. The establishment of this center reflects our shared vision to transform energy production and storage for the residential segment and for commercial and industrial customers in Europe,” said Bob Tao, CEO of Atmoce Eastern Europe.
The partnership between the two companies began a year ago, and Atmoce equipment is part of the E.ON Solar Home solution and is based on an innovative technology with microinverters and energy storage for photovoltaic systems developed with advanced low-voltage technology.
In the first five months of the year, the systems installed by E.ON Energie România total over 1 MWh of power and 1.5 MWh of storage capacity with Atmoce technology.
To date, E.ON Energie România has installed over 10,000 photovoltaic systems in homes across the country, in collaboration with several photovoltaic equipment suppliers, which proves a growing interest in these solutions.
