Two new fast-loading stations for electric vehicles were put into operation in Suceava and Roman by E.ON Energie Romania, the number of the functional units installed by the company reaching seven.

The initiative is part of the NEXT-E project, co-funded by European funds, through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), through which E.ON Energie Romania intends to install a total of 19 fast car-load units, while 21 will be installed by MOL, one of the partners in this project.

The two charging stations join the five already commissioned by E.ON in Iasi, Târgu Frumos and Cristești (Iași County), respectively Tasha (Neamț County) and Adjud (Vrancea County) ). Most loads were recorded at the station in Iasi, which became operational a month ago.

By 2020, the NEXT-E project will have 40 fast-charging stations installed in Romania, of which 19 by E.ON and 21 by MOL Romania.
