The natural gas distribution service will be stopped on Wednesday, August 11, for six hours, in three localities in Sibiu County, in order to allow works to be carried out on the national transmission system administered by Transgaz, according to a Delgaz Grid statement.

According to the quoted source, the localities that will run out of natural gas between 9:00 and 16:00 are Sălişte, Sibiel and Vale.

At the same time, the company asks consumers to turn off all fires, and after resuming the distribution of natural gas to monitor how they burn for 30 minutes.

Delgaz Grid, the distribution company within the German E.ON Group, operates a natural gas network of over 23,000 km in 20 counties in the North and West of Romania and an electricity network of almost 82,000 km in six counties in Moldova. Since entering the local market in 2005, E.ON has invested about 1.8 billion euros mainly in the modernization of gas and electricity networks and transferred 2.5 billion euros in taxes and fees to the state.
