Companies have more than 2.5 billion euros at their disposal in the coming months for investments in development, re-technology, digitalization or investments in increasing energy efficiency, according to REI.

According to REI’s analysis, it is the busiest period in non-reimbursable financing that Romania has ever seen, both through European funds, state aid, via projects financed through PNRR and many other instruments.

“Whether we are talking about start-ups, SMEs, whether they are large companies or even multinationals with a local presence, in the coming months the opening of at least 10 support calls for companies from different fields of activity is announced. We recommend all potential beneficiaries interested in investments in technology, development, who aim to acquire software and hardware equipment or who seek to increase their energy efficiency by installing photovoltaic panels to carefully follow the communications in the public space and to start now the preparation of the documentation, with specialists or with a team of professional consultants, with a history and who can offer contractual guarantees for the projects,” said Roxana Mircea, managing partner of REI, according to Agerpres.

The analysis mentions which calls are open in the following period: POC 4.1.1 – Investments in upgrading technology for SMEs, with an allocation of 238 million euros; POC 4.1.1 BIS – Investments for construction companies and the bakery industry, with an allocation of 179 million euros; RePowerEU – Energy efficiency measures for large enterprises and SMEs, with an allocation of 411 million euros; Recycling (PNRR), with an allocation of 286 million euros; State aid scheme for investments in the manufacturing industry (production), with an allocation of 300 million euros; Digitalization of companies (PNRR), with an allocation of 500 million euros; The modernization and development of spa and treatment resorts, with an allocation of 500 million euros.

In the analysis it is mentioned that in addition to the 7 major axes of support in the key areas, which total a financing of around 2.5 billion euros for companies, other smaller schemes, which total another hundreds of millions of euros in non-reimbursable support will be open over the coming months.
