The total amount verified by the National Energy Regulatory Authority and submitted for settlement in accordance with GEO 27/2022 exceeded 6.2 billion lei, according to a press release.

A number of 83 companies submitted 729 requests, of which 177 were approved for domestic customers and 277 for non-domestic customers.

The amount sent for settlement to the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection (ANPIS), for domestic consumers, is of 2.4 billion lei, and to the Ministry of Energy, for non-domestic consumers, of 3.7 billion lei.

The total amount sent for settlement based on the Government’s Emergency Ordinance no. 27/2022 increased by 925.3 million lei compared to the amount from the press release of November 10, 2022 (over 5.3 billion lei).

ANRE mentions that it has completed the IT platform regarding the settlement of the amounts related to the support scheme according to GEO 119/2022, and the operators can upload the supporting data and documents in order to verify them with maximum efficiency.
