The registrations of the prosumers by the installers within the Green House Photovoltaic Program, scheduled starting with Wednesday, have been suspended due to some technical problems of the computer application.

According to a press release from the Environment Fund Administration, the registrations are suspended until the functioning problems of the information system are remedied, according to Agerpres.

“We mention that the files submitted in the application will be canceled. The registrations will be resumed after solving the deficiencies of the computer application, at a date that will be established and communicated later”, it is mentioned in the release.

The budget allocated for this program amounts to 263.7 million lei, and in addition, in order to increase the chances of full use of the allocated budget, in the computer application, it will be allowed to enter within the limit of 150% of the value allocated to each region.

“Given the major interest in this program, we estimate that the budget allocated to the session to be launched next week will be exhausted fairly quickly, but we assure applicants that the funds will be supplemented. For next year, we will allocate a total budget of 650 million lei. We plan that for a period of 10 months, starting with January 2022, the program will be carried out monthly with a budget of 65 million lei/month, following that, in November, the allocated budget will have a value equivalent to the unused amount from the first 10 months. As such, we will be able to approve all applicants who want to participate in the Green House Photovoltaic Program,” said Barna Tanczos, Minister of Environment, Water and Forests, at the end of last week, according to an MMAP statement.

The aim of the program is to increase energy efficiency, improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by using photovoltaic panel systems to produce electricity needed for own consumption and deliver the surplus to the national energy system.

The financing is granted in the amount of up to 90% of the total value of the eligible expenses, up to the amount of 20,000 lei. The amount financed by the Administration of the Environment Fund (AFM) is deducted by the validated installer from the total value of the invoice, and the difference is borne by the final beneficiary, from his own financial sources.
