The “Recycling Factories” program, financed from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), will no longer start on November 1, but on December 6, the Environment Fund Administration (AFM) informed on Monday.

Thus, starting from December 6, 2022, at 12:00, and until March 15, 2023, at 12:00, the “Recycling Factories” Program will be carried out within the limit of the maximum eligible budget pre-allocated for the first round of fundraising.

According to a press release, funding applications will be submitted exclusively through the computer application intended for the program, which will be available on the institution’s website.

Through the Program, specific activities/actions will be supported for the construction of new waste recycling facilities collected separately to reduce their impact on the environment and the health of the population, reduce resource consumption in order to promote sustainable economic development in all regions and reach the recycling targets in the agreement with the National Strategy regarding the Circular Economy and the National Waste Management Plan/County Waste Management Plans and the Waste Management Plan for the Municipality of Bucharest.

The financial allocation granted by PNRR for the works intended to build new recycling facilities for separately collected waste is of 286 million euro.

The maximum eligible amount of state aid granted within a project is 8.4 million euros/project.
