The Intelligent Energy Association, as project promoter, announces the launch of the program “Energy efficiency in people’s lives in the perspective of the 2050s”, with a value of 221,128 euro. The project benefits from a grant in the amount of 199,017 euro granted by Norway through the EEA financial mechanism 2014-2021, within the “Energy Program in Romania”, the call for projects “increased knowledge on renewable energy and energy efficiency – public awareness and training” and is to be implemented by December 31, 2023.

“Through its activity, the Intelligent Energy Association aims to support as many people as possible in understanding the need to adopt responsible behaviors in terms of energy efficiency and the reduction of CO2 emissions. At the same time, we want to bring relevant information and concrete solutions that lead to the achievement of climate objectives, but also to important savings that people could achieve in the long term by saving energy. As we have mentioned repeatedly, energy efficiency does not mean sitting in the dark and cold, but taking concrete steps to reduce energy waste. Through its complexity, the course touches on elements related to energy efficiency in households as well as in terms of mobility, so that everyone who will take part in these training sessions will have an overview of the situation in which we find ourselves, but also concrete tools to act,” said Dumitru Chisăliță, President of the Intelligent Energy Association.

The project aims to organize training sessions in 10 cities in Romania: Mediaș, Brașov, Timișoara, Craiova, Târgu Mureș, Bistrița, Harghita, Piatra Neamț, Râmnicu Vâlcea and Vaslui. The course aims to bring advanced knowledge in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security and raise awareness for the need for clean energy.

The training responds to market trends to align with EU greenhouse gas (CO2) regulations and aims to bring advanced knowledge in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and raising awareness for the need for clean energy.
