WattRO Energy, a Romanian distributor of photovoltaic equipment and energy storage systems, has signed a strategic partnership with Chisage ESS, the renewable energy subsidiary of the Chinese group Chisage Holding Group, becoming the official distributor of the brand on the Romanian market. The value of the contract signed for 2026 amounts to 3 million euros, with an estimated sales target of over 10 million euros by the end of the year.
The partnership was announced on May 15, 2026, in the presence of Will Zhang, Vice President of Chisage, and Allim Zhang, Technical Director of Chisage, together with Daniel Nica, General Manager of WattRO Energy.
Permanent Chinese presence in Romania
Chisage’s commitment to the Romanian market goes beyond a simple commercial partnership. A team of a sales specialist and a technical engineer from China will remain in Bucharest until the end of June 2026 to finalize the after-sales support infrastructure with the WattRO Energy team.
Four dedicated engineers — two based in China and two from the Chisage subsidiary in Poland — also provide real-time remote technical support for the Romanian market. WattRO Energy is to hire two Romanian engineers dedicated exclusively to Chisage equipment, who will benefit from direct training from the manufacturer.

WattRO Energy maintains permanent stocks in Bucharest of the entire Chisage ESS range:
- Single-phase and three-phase hybrid inverters: from 3 kW to 80 kW, with UPS switching time under 10ms, WiFi and Bluetooth, conversion efficiency up to 98.8%
- Low voltage LFP batteries (51.2V): capacities of 100Ah, 200Ah and 314Ah, with up to 8,000 cycles at 80% DOD
- High voltage batteries: systems for commercial and industrial applications, from tens of kWh to hundreds of kWh
- All-in-one C&I systems: integrated solar+storage cabinets up to 250kW/500kWh, with double fire protection and liquid cooling
