UPDATE: Toma Petcu keeps the Energy portfolio; Mihai Fifor, at Economy

The former minister of energy, Toma Petcu, will keep his portfolio also in the cabinet led by Mihai Tudose. The Liberal-Democratic Alliance coalition, ALDE, proposed on Monday to the political partners from PSD, to maintain the ministers from the former government, including Petcu.

Mihai Tudose’s Cabinet comprises of minister from the Sorin Grindeanu government, such as Lia Olguţa Vasilescu at the Ministry of Labor, Carmen Dan at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Sevil Şhaideh at the Ministry of Regional Development, Teodor Melescanu at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Petre Daea at the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as new names, according to news.ro. The Tudose government will have three deputy prime ministers – Sevil Shhaideh (PSD), Gracela Gavrilescu (ALDE) and Marcel Ciolacu (PSD) – without a portfolio. Sevil Shaideh remains the minister of Regional Development, Florian Bodog – Minister of Health, Tudorel Toader – Minister of Justice. Adrian Ţuţuianu was proposed to take over the Defense portfolio.

The new cabinet includes: Lucian Romaşcanu – Minister of Culture and National Identity, Liviu Pop – Minister of National Education, Ionuţ Mişa – Minister of Finance, Carmen Dan – Minister of Internal Affairs, Teodor Melescanu – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gratiela Gavrilescu – proposed by Lia Olguţa Vasilescu – Minister of Labor and Justice, Rovana Plumb – Minister of Finance, Petre Daea – Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mihai Fifor – Minister of Economy, according to Agerpres.

At the same time, Tudorel Toader will remain at the Ministry of Justice, Răzvan Cuc was proposed to the Ministry of Transport, Doina Pană – to the Ministry of Waters and Forests, Lucian Şova – to the Ministry of Communications and Gabriel Petrea to the Ministry of Public Consultation and Social Dialogue.

Also, Marius Alexandru Dunca was proposed Minister of Youth and Sports, Mircea Titus Dobre – Minister of Tourism, Andreea Păstîrnac – Minister for Romanians everywhere, Ilan Laufer – Minister for Business, Commerce and Entrepreneurship, Viorel Ilie – Minister of Relationship With Parliament, Victor Negrescu – Deputy Minister for European Affairs, Lucian Georgescu – Minister of Research and Innovation.
