The CEZ Group in Romania launched the made-to-measure professional outfits collection for its employees in the Customer Relations Centers, in the context of a broader process of modernization and reorganization.

About 150 CEZ employees will wear the uniforms created by two Romanian fashion designers: Iulia Radu (Depot 96) and Ionuț Marin (Viggo). Iulia Radu is recognized for the development of professional clothing for companies and educational institutions (e.g. Lauder Reut Bucharest Educational Complex), and the Viggo brand is recognized as Official Partner of the National Football Team of Romania.

“The project was inspired by our colleagues from our Customer Care Centers, those who are in touch with our customers’ needs, their energy and commitment to finding the best solutions every day. New clothing is a tool to adapt to customer needs as a new way to start a dialogue with them about the values and specifics of the company”, said Martin Zmelik, Country Manager of CEZ Group in Romania.

Part of the group’s customer relationship development strategy, the project is justified by several international surveys showing that unitary outfit of employees in customer relations centers positively influences the company’s image. Uniforms also carry the professionalism and competence of the CEZ Group in Romania, the customer orientation, the ambition to become a flexible and innovative company.

The professional clothes are customized with the company’s insignia and with traditional Oltenian elements. The folkloric inspiration in the Oltenia area, which is found in both women’s and men’s outfits, reaffirms the concern of CEZ in Romania for local values. Being a project of affirmation of appreciation for employees, they took part in the design process, having the opportunity to choose the traditional motif and various elements of the uniform. “The materials used are of the highest quality, being chosen according to the specifics of the employees of the Customer Relations Centers, for whom the comfort and versatility of the clothing are important at the workplace,” the company’s representatives said in a press release.

The initiative is a first for the Romanian energy companies, but also for the CEZ companies.

The partnership with Romanian designers reflects the desire of CEZ’s management in Romania to support local companies, and also to involve in the brand image enhancement program the direct beneficiaries of uniforms created specifically for and with them.

The entire reorganization process is built around the idea of personalized care for both employees and customers. The upgrading of Customer Relations Centers involves dividing them into 3 areas of interest (Sales, Customer Management and Power Distribution), based on the specific customer needs and implementation of a feedback system to improve the flow of information received from customers in regard to the group’s activity in Romania.
