Andrei Covatariu, the first Romanian part of the FEL-100 Board

One year after being selected as part of the Future Energy Leaders (FEL) 100 global community – a program designed and managed by World Energy Council – Andrei Covatariu was elected as a Member of the Board of the organization.

On his 3-year mandate, Andrei Covatariu will be part of the Studies Committee, department which oversees the involvement of the FEL-100 program participants in the Council’s work program as well as in FEL-100 working groups.

With a cumulated experience of over 7 years, Andrei Covatariu is the Digital Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO & Country Manager at Enel Romania. Also, Andrei is a Senior Research Associate and Summer School Director at Energy Policy Group. A member of FEL Romania since 2014, Andrei is Vice President of the organization, Member of the Board and Head of International Cooperation, since September 2016.

Romania is also represented, inside FEL-100, by Claudiu Butacu, a member since 2016

The Council’s Future Energy Leaders’ program (FEL-100) is designed to help shape, inspire and grow energy leaders of tomorrow. It serves as a platform for engaging a limited number of ambitious young professionals in national, regional and international activities and events. The objective is to inspire participants to become the next generation of energy leaders capable of solving the world’s most pressing challenges regarding energy and sustainability.
