Transelectrica appoints new SB members with provisional mandates of 4 months

Transelectrica has convened the General Meeting of Shareholders for August 18, the agenda being completed today with a new request from the Romanian state – represented by the General Secretariat of the Government (SGG) – to change some of the members of the Supervisory Board (SB) of the company, it is stated in the company’s report submitted to the Stock Exchange.

At the same time, the gross amount of the fixed monthly allowance of SB members was set at 17,926 lei (about 3,600 euro).

The new proposals include the liberal Teodor Atanasiu, member of the ANRE Regulatory Council, former Minister of Defense and head of AVAS, as well as the economists Gheorghe Sterp Vingărzan and Luminița Zezeanu. The current SC president, Cătălin-Andrei Dascăl, resident in Bucharest, legal adviser, as well as Dumitru Virgil Orlandea, resident in Săliștea, Sibiu (teacher), Costin-Mihai Păun (engineer), from Bucharest and Alexandru-Cristian Vasilescu, residing in Fetești Municipality, Ialomița County (engineer) will keep their positions.

The new mandates will last for four months, starting on August 22, 2022 and ending on

December 21, 2022.
