The Romanian Commodities Exchange becomes a member of the FPPG

The Romanian Commodities Exchange has become a member of the Oil and Gas Employers Federation (FPPG), an association that includes companies such as OMV Petrom, Conpet and Siemens.

The Oil and Gas Employers Federation represents the framework for the development, dialogue and efficient management of resources in the energy, oil, gas and energy mining sectors in Romania. Founded in 1991 by the Constituent General Assembly, the Oil and Gas Employers Federation obtained its legal personality in 1992.

Established on the basis of the Social Dialogue Law no. 62/2011, by the provisions stipulated in the Romanian Constitution and its own statute, FPPG has in its existence for more than 25 years consolidated strong principles regarding the predictability and competitiveness of the applicable legislative framework in the field of energy.

The Romanian Commodities Exchange was founded almost 27 years ago.
