The Romanian Diplomatic Institute (RDI), in partnership with the Energy Employers’ Federation (FPE), announces the third edition of the “Energy Diplomacy” professional development and training program. Registration is open from October 12 to October 30, 2026, and courses begin on November 2, in a hybrid format.

Now in its third edition, the program continues the collaboration between the two organizations and addresses the need for specialized expertise in a field where energy plays an increasingly significant role in international relations, energy security, and economic competitiveness.

The program brings together perspectives from diplomacy, security, and the energy industry, offering participants an in-depth understanding of how energy-related decisions influence international relations and Romania’s strategic positioning.

Structured into five complementary modules, the program covers the geopolitics of resources, European energy security, European Union energy policies, the protection of critical infrastructure, and Romania’s role within the regional energy architecture.

The courses will be taught by specialists with practical experience in diplomacy, security, and energy. The program is designed for professionals in public administration and the energy sector, as well as university graduates interested in continuing education in this field. The courses will take place from November 2 to December 7, 2026.

Registration is open until October 30, 2026. Participation requirements, necessary documents, and full details regarding the program are available on the Romanian Diplomatic Institute’s website.
