Calin Popescu Tariceanu has announced that the ALDE remains in the coalition with the PSD at the helm of the government. He argued that he would ask Prime Minister Dăncilă to renounce definitively the idea of the GEOs on justice, but also to reopen discussions on the GEO 114. Tariceanu said that from the GEO 114 only the provisions related to ROBOR and the capping of the gas price for household consumers should remain, while the rest should disappear, according to g4media.ro.

The ALDE leader also said he would ask for a rediscussion of the project of the Sovereign Development and Investment Fund and the eventual establishment of a special bank for Romanian entrepreneurs. “We want to privatize a 15-20% stake in Hidroelectrica, so that the management is represented with a larger share of private shareholders,” said the chief of ALDE.
