Romania, ranked 157th in power grid connection in the World Bank’s Doing Business ranking

Romania lost three places in the “Doing Business 2020” ranking, made by the World Bank, and dropped to position 55 out of 190 countries, down form 52, last year. Romania is only on the 157th place when it comes to the connection to the electricity grid, considering that it requires 9 procedures and the waiting period is of up to 174 days for the connection to the electricity network.

In the ranking on ease of doing business, Romania is ahead of countries such as Italy (58), Bulgaria (61), Luxembourg (72) or Greece (79). Nevertheless, Romania obtained a total score of 73.3 points, up from the overall score of 72.30 points registered last year.
