The Autonomous Directorate of Nuclear Energy Technologies (RATEN) intends to purchase design and execution services for buildings and the supply of the experimental installation Athena, worth 88 million lei, according to an announcement published on the institution’s website.
Thus, RATEN invites interested companies to submit the bid in electronic format in SEAP in order to award, by open tender, the contract for the execution of works having as object “Acquisition of design services and execution of works for buildings and supply of experimental installation Athena”, according to financialintelligence.ro.
The way of finalizing the open tender procedure consists in concluding a Contract for the execution of works. The award criterion is the best quality-price ratio. The execution period is of 32 months.
Payment will be made in installments, on the main stages of implementation.
According to SEAP, the acquisition refers to a project and/or program financed from European Union funds, through the Operational Program Competitiveness – POC.
According to SEAP, in the last 10 years Romania has been involved in the research, development and design of the LFR type reactor system (fast lead cooled reactor), developing skills by supporting national research programs and by participating in EURATOM projects – Fission within FP6, FP7 and currently H2020 programs.
