The production and supply of electricity and heat will register an increase of 0.8% this year compared to 2025, and will continue to increase slightly in the next three years, according to the 2025-2029 Forecast, autumn version, of the National Strategy and Forecast Commission.
Thus, in 2027 the production and supply of electricity and heat are estimated to increase by 2%, in 2028 by 2.3% and in 2029 by 1.5%.
Overall, according to CNSP estimates, industrial production will increase in 2026 by 0.5%, in 2027 by 1.6%, in 2028 by 2.2% and in 2029 by 1.9%, according to Agerpres.
After an estimated decline of 1.4% in 2026, production in the extractive industry will follow an upward trend of 0.7% in 2027, 1.4% in 2028 and 1.1% in 2029.
In the manufacturing industry, production will register an advance of 0.6% in 2026, 1.6% in 2027, 2.3% in 2028 and 2% in 2029.
