Rețele Electrice România has launched a public tender on the SEAP electronic public procurement platform with a maximum value of up to 465 million lei (excluding VAT), for the execution of modernization and maintenance works in medium and low voltage installations in the Dobrogea operational area, respectively in the counties of Constanța, Călărași, Ialomița and Tulcea.

“Through these investment and maintenance works, we continue the modernization and digitalization of the electricity network, in order to create a resilient and robust energy infrastructure, considering the challenges brought by both the energy transition and climate change. The goal is to provide customers with a quality distribution service, both for domestic comfort and for the support and development of economic activities,” said Mihai Pește, General Manager of Rețele Electrice România.

The tender aims to procure works on medium and low voltage installations in the Dobrogea area, both in the maintenance and modernization categories of networks and consolidation of the electrical infrastructure. The maintenance works aim to carry out technical inspections and remedy potential problems as quickly as possible.

For the execution and modernization works, the following will be carried out: network extensions in the installations of Rețele Electrice România, the execution of medium and low voltage overhead and underground lines, overhead connections and transformer stations, as well as works on the medium voltage bars of the transformer stations.

Also, works are planned to modernize existing installations, secure measurement groups, improve the voltage level in existing networks, and network reinforcement works.

The duration of the contract is 60 months, starting from the date of signing the framework agreement by both parties.

During all stages of execution of the works awarded following the tender, the applicable legal and regulatory requirements in the field of environmental protection, as well as the relevant standards in force, will be strictly complied with.
