PPC Blue Romania, part of the PPC group in Romania, is collaborating with retailer Selgros to install a network of 100 charging points for electric vehicles in stores in 7 cities, with a total installed power of 5,800 kW.
PPC Blue Romania and Selgros Romania have signed a partnership to install charging stations for electric vehicles in several Selgros stores in Bucharest and around the country. The first charging stations were installed in 2025 in a Selgros store in Sibiu. Here, customers can find 4 PPC blue electric vehicle charging stations, totaling 8 charging points – one ultra-fast 200 kW station, one ultra-fast 150 kW station and two AC stations with a power of 22 kW.
This year, 12 more charging points were installed in the Selgros store in Craiova (Henry Ford Street, number 12), in a configuration that reaches a total installed power of 700 kW – 1 ultra-fast 300 kW station, 1 ultra-fast 200 kW station, one 100 kW and 3 44 kW stations. In Constanța County, stations were installed in the Selgros stores in Agigea (Str. Dragoș Vodă no. 1, Lazu) and Constanța (B-dul Tomis no. 387), totaling a total installed power of 700 kW in each of the locations, with 12 charging points each.
Also, starting in June, Selgros customers in Blejoi, Prahova, will be able to charge their electric car at one of the 8 charging points.
By the end of the year, 24 more charging stations (48 charging points) will be installed in 4 other Selgros stores in Bucharest and Ilfov County, totaling approximately 700 kW installed in each location.

In 2025, drivers who charged their electric cars at PPC blue stations traveled a total of over 18,000,000 km, equivalent to 453 laps around the Earth, recording an average of 0.20 kWh per km. Following the charging sessions, they contributed to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 2,945 tons/year.
In Romania, PPC blue operates over 1,100 charging points in all counties of the country, with a total installed power of over 36 MW, doubling not only the number of points, but also the number of fast and ultra-fast charging stations. PPC blue offers integrated electric mobility solutions to residential customers, companies and public institutions across the country.
In 2026, PPC blue investments will follow the same strategic direction: integrating electric mobility both in everyday life and during long trips. Thus, PPC blue will continue to develop the infrastructure in three complementary directions: densification of the charging network in areas where people already spend their time (retail, business districts, areas of interest, campuses, industrial parks and tourist areas), where charging becomes a natural part of daily activity, not a dedicated stop; investments in a balanced infrastructure through rapid transit stations, but also AC charging in residential and proximity areas to support the concept of slow living and to reduce pressure on the network. And, last but not least, integration with green energy and storage solutions, so that the infrastructure becomes an active element in the energy ecosystem, not just a point of consumption.
