PNE announces that it has successfully agreed with TotalEnergies Renewables SAS on the sale of five photovoltaic solar projects in Romania. The projects under development have a combined total size of 208-megawatt peak (MWp). The parties to the transaction have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

PNE shall remain responsible for further project development until the ready-to-build stage is achieved. According to the company, the agreement underscores the trust of PNEs customers in the development of a “Clean Energy Solutions Provider”.

PNE has been active in Romania for over 10 years and successfully developed and sold 510 MW/MWp of wind and solar photovoltaic projects.

The fact that Total Energies, a renowned company on the global energy market, was interested in acquiring these projects developed by PNE, underlines their quality and potential, says Daniela Dinescu, managing director of PNE Romania. “We continue to be among the top companies in the field of renewable energy in Romania and bring innovation and sustainability to all our projects.

Daniela Dinescu has been the country manager of PNE ROMANIA for over 10 years, and is an active member both in the board of directors of RWEA and in that of RPIA, associations that represent the voice of renewables in Romania. PNE Romania has projects under development with a capacity of over 1 GW, in various renewable technologies.
