OMV Petrom, the largest energy company in South-East Europe, continues to support the efforts of healthcare professionals in the fight with the coronavirus pandemic, together with Mastercard, its main partner. During the next month, during the state of emergency, five hospitals in Bucharest and Ploiești will receive a total of 24,000 packages of VIVA Lunch Box food products from OMV fuel stations.

Food packages VIVA Lunch Box will be delivered daily by foodpanda, with staff dedicated especially for this initiative, in hospitals Grigore Alexandrescu, Floreasca, Sf. Ion, Colentina and the Prahova County Hospital. They will be delivered from OMV fuel stations near the five hospitals.

VIVA Lunch Box packages will be distributed from OMV stations in strict compliance with the hygiene norms regarding food safety and the safety measures recommended by the Ministry of Health, in heat resistant bags. Each package will contain a sandwich, a 500ml flat water bottle, an apple and a dessert.

“We believe that it is important to mobilize everyone, people, companies, authorities, so that together we can overcome the difficult situation caused by COVID-19. These days, the medical system needs our support and we continue to be involved. I thank colleagues from stations who volunteered for this project,” said George Daniel Ion, OMV Petrom Retail Manager.
