NOVA Power & Gas has announced an ambitious investment program estimated at 1 billion euros for the period 2026-2029, aiming to become one of the main suppliers of electricity and natural gas in Romania. This initiative follows a 500 million euro investment in energy infrastructure between 2023 and 2025.

The company aims to enhance its integrated business model, which includes electricity generation from gas and renewable sources, storage, and supply to customers, in order to reduce dependence on market fluctuations. “To ensure continuous energy at an affordable price, we have developed the entire chain – production, storage, supply – and the concept of a hybrid energy production site ensures control and adaptation of the production curve to the consumption curve,” stated Septimiu Costea, CEO of NOVA Power & Gas, in a press release.

One of the company’s flagship projects is the integrated energy platform at Câmpia Turzii, which will combine electricity generation from a combined cycle gas plant with production from renewable sources and large-capacity storage. A second similar site will be developed in Roșiori, Satu Mare County, located at the border with Hungary and Ukraine.

NOVA Power & Gas aims to meet customer needs by offering competitive prices and a simplified relationship with the supplier. The company is among the suppliers with the most competitive offers, according to the ANRE comparator, and is continuously investing in digital services that facilitate customer interaction.

The new brand platform, “Simple energy. For a better life,” underscores the company’s commitment to making energy more accessible and easier to understand for consumers. The visual identity has been updated to align with the E-INFRA group, which develops infrastructure in energy, construction, and telecommunications.
