Main Romanian hydropower plant Hidroelectrica, owned by the Romanian state via the Energy Department of the ministry of Economy, started executive search procedures for its Supervisory Board. The process will be advised by Boyden Global Executive Search.

Hidroelectrica`s General Shareholders`Meeting this August revoked the entire Supervisory Board of the company, only to re-confirm it later on. Two new members representing the state were added to the empty seats of the Board, Elena Popescu and Gabriela Sandu.

Currently the Supervisory Board members are Remus Borza (president), Ioan Mihăilă, Remus Vulpescu, Mihai Groşan and Oana Truţă.

Remus Borza owns Euro Insol, the legal manager of Hidroelectrica during its insolvency, that started in June 2012 and ended in June 2013.

The deadline for submitting applications for the Supervisory Board selection process is November, 11, Hidroelectrica announced.
