The Ministry of Environment has published the financing guide for the 400 million lei program dedicated to prosumer energy storage. The guide and the draft Ministerial Order related to the program are under consultation for decision-making transparency, on the website of the relevant ministry.
The Ministry of Environment announced on Monday the launch of an AFM program exclusively for energy storage batteries, for which 400 million lei have been allocated. The financing will be accessible to individuals who already have photovoltaic panels installed and connected to the grid. According to Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, there will also be another scheme, twice as large, dedicated to storage and financed through the Modernization Fund, which will most likely target companies.
The Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, stated that the AFM program will be intended only for individuals who already have photovoltaic panels installed and connected to the grid.
“Individuals, attention, not legal entities, who have photovoltaic panels installed, connected, everything with the certificates obtained, will be able to come to benefit from this program,” said Diana Buzoianu, on a TV station.
“We will propose a limit, between a minimum limit and a maximum limit, depending on the capacity that the photovoltaic system that the individuals have practically produces. That is, an average of hours,” added Buzoianu.
