    Energynomics is media partner for the Manchester Business Forum, a high-impact business conference organized by the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) together with the Consulate General of Romania in Manchester and the Embassy of Romania in London.

    Purpose and focus

    The forum is designed to support Romanian companies that want to expand operations in the Greater Manchester City Region and the North West of the UK, by connecting them with potential partners—including members of local Chambers of Commerce.

    At the same time, the event aims to attract UK investors to explore opportunities in Romania, including financing options through Romania’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

    This business mission brings together industry leaders from Romania and the UK to build long-term relationships and unlock opportunities across two priority areas:

    • Digitalization / AI / New Tech
    • Green Energy

    • Information session led by Mrs. Ivona Batali, Director General, MIPE, including the MIPE-developed platform https://oportunitati-ue.gov.ro/ as a single access point for beneficiaries

    • Highlighting Romania’s NRRP, approved by the EU Council on December 8, 2023, allocating €28.5 billion (12.8% of Romania’s 2019 GDP) in non-refundable funds
