One of the most important construction projects recently completed in Romania, the Cathedral of National Salvation, is supported in terms of energy by Legrand Romania technology. The company supplied and integrated Zucchini XCP-HP enclosed busbar systems, high-power distribution solutions used in complex projects across Europe, to ensure the safety, efficiency, and continuity of the power supply throughout the entire complex.

According to a press release, the total length of the installed infrastructure exceeds 1.3 kilometers, with sections sized at 4,000 A, 1,600 A, and 1,250 A, made entirely of copper to reduce losses and maximize energy efficiency. The solutions are IP65 certified and comply with the international standard IEC 61439-6, ensuring advanced protection and long-term reliability.

The building’s height of 120 meters, its highly complex architecture, its 3P + N + PE configuration, the modularity of its routes, and its ability to supply uninterrupted power to the building’s lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, and technical equipment systems are all factors that played a decisive role in the selection of Legrand technology. The implementation was carried out in collaboration with High Tech Clima, a company that integrated the solutions across the entire electrical infrastructure.
