Fimer, an Italian manufacturer of inverters for photovoltaic parks, is consolidating its presence in the local market through projects developed in collaboration with Simtel. The installed capacity using Fimer technology has exceeded 350 MW in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
In a gesture of recognition, Fimer received the “Successful Strategic Partner” award at the Simtel 25 Gala, according to a press release. This also includes the presentation of joint reference projects completed in early 2025, which include both ground-mounted commercial power plants and photovoltaic installations for retail, industry, and logistics.
The largest of these is the 5.5 MW park in Salonta, where 48 Fimer PVS-100-TL inverters manage the output of 13,488 Longi panels. The system delivers over 1,300 kWh/kWp annually and reduces emissions by 3.4 million kg of CO₂. In the commercial sector, two similar plants in Sibiu and Râmnicu Vâlcea, each with a capacity of approximately 170 kWp, use combinations of PVS-100-TL and PVS-50-TL inverters, optimized for east-west orientation.
In the pharmaceutical sector, Fimer equipped the 156.5 kWp power plant installed for Farmexim in Iași, where three PVS-50-TL inverters support an estimated annual production of 1,305 MWh/MWp and avoid the emission of over 126 tons of CO₂ per year.
The range used in these projects includes the PVS-50/60-TL and PVS-100/120-TL models, cloud-connected three-phase inverters designed for commercial and utility systems, with up to six MPPTs and integrated DC/AC protection options. Their compact features reduce installation costs and enable centralized monitoring through the Aurora Vision platform.
