INSPET announces the entry into use of the natural gas drying station from Bilciurești

The Bilciurești natural gas drying station is part of the surface installations of the largest natural gas storage depot in Romania, which currently provides 44% of Romania’s storage volume. Following an investment of 7.6 million euros, the capacity of the installation has been increased 3 times, states INSPET, in a post on Facebook.

“By completing this project, we have contributed to increasing the daily extraction capacity by over 5 million standard cubic meters, thus ensuring a necessary increase in natural gas in the winter months,” said Ciprian Păltineanu, CEO and Chairman of the Board Inspect.

The official opening and reception were presided over by the Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă, Virgil Popescu, the Minister of Energy, Dumitru Chiriță, ANRE President, Vasile Cârstea, the General Manager of Depogaz, Aristotel Jude, the General Manager of Romgaz.
