Hidroelectrica will carry out, between January 1 and 20, a project for digitalization and increasing the quality of services offered to customers, an operation that involves the implementation of a new IT system, as well as the migration of databases.
According to the cited source, the new IT systems will allow, in the medium and long term, more efficient management of customer relations, faster and more secure billing processes, increased transparency of information regarding balances and payments, as well as the development of improved digital functionalities, oriented towards consumer needs.
In the context of these technical operations, Hidroelectrica informs that, temporarily, certain activities will be interrupted: issuing and correcting invoices; reconciling balances and allocating payments; other operations that involve accessing or modifying databases.
Also, payments made through channels other than the iHidro application (for example, bank transfer), during the period January 1-15, will be reflected in customer balances after the migration stages are completed, respectively starting January 15, without affecting customers’ contractual rights.
Throughout the implementation, public relations activity will be carried out according to the normal schedule.
Hidroelectrica emphasizes that these investments in IT infrastructure are made for the direct benefit of consumers, to ensure modern, secure services adapted to current requirements.
