Government extends the alert state by 30 days

The government is to approve the extension of the state of alert by 30 days throughout the country, starting with June 17, based on the decision of the National Committee for Emergency Situations, Prime Minister Ludovic Orban announced on Tuesday, at the beginning of the Executive meeting. According to Orban, within the National Committee for Emergency Situations, the following Decision was unanimously approved: “Article 1 – It is proposed to extend the alert status throughout the country for a period of 30 days, starting with June 17, 2020; Article 2 – The measures for the prevention and control of infections caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus necessary to be adopted from 17 June 2020, in the current epidemiological context, are set out in the Annex which forms part of this Decision; Article 3 – This Decision is communicated to all components of the national emergency management system for implementation by orders and administrative acts of their managers.”

He added that, given the existing situation, a decision was taken for “a new step for relaxing conditions” in accordance with the decision taken on Friday in the Government meeting, according to Agerpres.
