Government adopted the Electric Up program

Romanian government has adopted the “Electric Up” program, through which SMEs in the HoReCa field have the possibility to access a non-reimbursable financing of up to 100,000 euro for the installation of photovoltaic panel systems and charging stations, Ionel Dancă, head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, announced.

“In the economic field, another draft emergency ordinance for the implementation of another program from the National Plan for investments and economic recovery was adopted. It is the ‘Electric Up’ program, through which SMEs in the HoReCa field have the possibility to access a non-reimbursable financing of up to 100,000 euro for the installation of photovoltaic panel systems and for the installation of charging stations. This draft normative act also obtained all the necessary approvals and was adopted in final form in this government meeting,” Ionel Dancă said, according to Agerpres.

“The Romanian Government adopted the Emergency Ordinance initiated by the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, regarding the financing of small and medium enterprises and HORECA for the installation of photovoltaic panel systems for electricity production with an installed power of 27 kWp – 100 kWp necessary for own consumption and delivery of surplus in the National Energy System, as well as 22 kW recharging stations for electric and electric plug – in vehicles, through the financing program “ELECTRIC – UP”, also announced the Ministry of Economy and Energy (MEEMA ).

The program benefits from a budget of 100 million euro.
