The electricity transmission system operator, Transelectrica, has decided to appoint Gabriel Andronache as the company’s CEO for a four-month term. The Supervisory Board (SB) thus replaced Bogdan Toncescu, whose provisional term has not been renewed.
Thus, Transelectrica informed today the shareholders and investors that, “in accordance with its attributions according to the statutory and legal provisions, the Supervisory Board decided in the meeting of December 22, 2021, by reporting on the arrival on term of mandates of members of the Board of Directors of Bogdan Toncescu, Ionuț-Bogdan Grecia, Adrian Moraru, Cătălin-Constantin Nadolu and Marius-Viorel Stanciu, the following: appointment, for a term of 4 months starting with 25.12.2021, in the quality of temporary members of the Directorate, based on the conditions of art. 642 of GEO no. 109/2011 on the corporate governance of public enterprises with subsequent amendments and completions, of the following: Gabriel Andronache, Ştefăniţă Munteanu, Cătălin-Constantin Nadolu, Marius-Viorel Stanciu and Florin-Cristian Tătaru,” is shown in the report submitted to the Stock Exchange.
At the same time, the SB also decided “the election as Chairman of the Board of Directors, alternatively called Executive General Manager or Chief Executive Officer -“CEO”of the National Electricity Transmission Company Transelectrica SA, of Mr. Gabriel Andronache, in accordance with the provisions of art. 23 par. (1) of the Articles of Association of the National Electricity Transmission Company Transelectrica.”
According to another release sent today, December 22, to the Stock Exchange, SB of Transelectrica “elected Mr. Marius Vasile Morariu as Chairman of the Supervisory Board” and appointed the members of the Advisory Committees of the Supervisory Board, as follows:
